night was in the deep sleep
when I mixed FIRE and LIGHT
and on a white virgin CANVAS
I painted a SUN;
a red blazing sun
By morning
the sun had burnt a gaping hole
in my canvas
and there were ashes
all over my room....

~ tHe hApPiEsT dAy oF mY LiFe ~
The happiest day of my life,
Was when I first laid eyes on you.
For you were like a gift from God,
An Angel sweet and beautiful.
Deep inside my tender heart,
Actually felt your halo shine.
I quickly knelt and prayed to God,
And I asked Him to make you mine.
The happiest day of my life,
Was the day when I first missed you.
For I had never felt a miss,
So tender, soft and beautiful.
But when I felt your gentle lips,
I could have sworn I owned the world.
Right then and there I knew for sure,
You would forever be my girl.
The happiest day of my life,
I guess it has to be right now.
For here I stand in front of God,
Ready to make a Solemn Vow.
A vow to have you as my life,
And to love you with all me heart.
To honor you and cherish you,
And say, "Until death do we part."
The happiest day of my life,
Has to be on some future day.
About fifty years down the road,
Upon the death bed that I lay.
For when God calls me on that day,
And I still have you as my wife.
I'll die on the happiest day,
The happiest day of my life......

~..All night, Cold winds Raged...~

All night, the cold winds raged;
all night we made love.
I cut some dead branches from the past;
you too plucked leaves of times gone by.
I emptied my pockets
of all dried up poems;
you too took out shriveled up letters.
I threw away the stale lines
of my palms,
you shed all moisture
from your eyelids.
Whatever we found growing
on our bodies
we chopped it
and fed it to the fire.
All night we kept the flame alive
we fueled the fires of our bodies;
all night we heated a Love
gone cold..
all night we made love.
I cut some dead branches from the past;
you too plucked leaves of times gone by.
I emptied my pockets
of all dried up poems;
you too took out shriveled up letters.
I threw away the stale lines
of my palms,
you shed all moisture
from your eyelids.
Whatever we found growing
on our bodies
we chopped it
and fed it to the fire.
All night we kept the flame alive
we fueled the fires of our bodies;
all night we heated a Love
gone cold..
~dEsIrE~

My body burns
to touch you.
A hand rises
to stroke your flame;
breath
like a thread
stretches
itself to death.
An empty search...
My arms collapse
and every time
in my emptiness
I have thought
of passing this void
onto your lap
adding one more flame
to the fires of the soul..
